ABOUT MEAs a trained actor and drama school graduate I have been working with international filmmakers, playing leading and supporting parts..- in an English-speaking 1990s noir action-drama portraying gang-/family-rivalry that deals with themes like revenge, loyalty and love, as well as- in another English-speaking comedy on the consequences of smoking a winning-lottery ticket or- in a 1950s drama which in a Grease-style included elements of dance and romance. In fact, I keep experimenting with my acting range.My long-time engagement with philosophy makes me look at more complex and eccentric characters, yet my curiosity allows me to deepen or broaden the simplicity or complexity of a given character. All this may include distinct nationalities due to different languages I speak. Currently, I am based in Germany but ready to change my living environment. PHILOSOPHYThe events are not the story.
The story is what happens inside
the character not around him.Given that fiction is stronger than reality, after a certain point one can - philosophically speaking - only develop further through the unlimited ways of playing and acting. Because fantasy-driven immersion into creative acting transcends the limitations of mere "reality".Throughout my work with foreign cultures and languages in different parts of the world I have learned to engage with the entire spectrum of the human psyche: from the abysmal to the exuberant.That’s why international projects as we can see them on platforms like Netflix draw my attention. In fact, I like to portray different national or cultural figures with the different mentalities I absorbed and languages I speak (see above) or can learn in a short time if needed.
